NMDC DAV Polytechnic has established a Training and Placement Cell. The institute is having TWO Branches Electrical & Mechanical. Counseling and guiding of students, arranging industrial visits, industrial training during vocation, organizing campus interviews, providing job market information to students and necessary inputs to face the interviews, organizing Guest Lectures and Campus Selections, arranging industrial training for students, arranging industrial internships for faculty are some of the activities of the Training & Placement Cell. Organize training programs on all the issues related to placement activity. The College has a separate Training and Placement Cell, which invites various companies in all branches of Engineering. The shortlist of students is prepared based on their merit and the requirement of a particular industry. The same list is sent to the concerned industries for their review and further shortlisted candidates are tested and interviewed on the campus. The goal of Training & Placement Cell is to provide employment opportunities & world-class training to PEC students in leading organizations.
All the reputed organizations including MNCs are coming to the College for campus recruitment. To achieve its goal, the Training & Placement Cell works towards recognizing the core competencies of students. It works through a close-knit organization and has a structure that conveys information to the students at the fastest possible rate.
The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in 'Industry-Institute Interaction In order to accomplish 'Industry-Institute Interaction, it organizes technical talks and national seminars to provide a platform for the budding engineers to interact with professionals from various industries. It encourages visits to the industries by college students. It arranges for industrial problems to be worked on by students as part of their projects. The college has signed 5 MOUs with many industrial organizations and industrial chambers.
