The Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi & Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Raipur. The Institute is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai. The AICTE, DTE & CSVTU is allotted 2 branches to run in the Institute Electrical & Mechanical with intake of 60 seats in each branch. The admissions to these branches are done only as directed by Directorate each year after declare of Pre Polytechnic Test (PPT) conducted by VYAPM. The following table shows tentative seat matrix we maintain at the time of admission. The seats are reserved only as per the Directorate directives.

1. If 100% allotted seats were filled, Institute can avail 03 Feewaiver seats in each branch, hence the total seats - 60+03 = 63 X 02 = 126.
2. The Management Quota can be changed as per the directives of Directorate.
