NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
About-:
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year in 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community (esp. Villages) linkage. In our institute it was started in 2013, since than we are working in the social services and developing our student’s persona.
Recent NSS Activities-:
1. Tree Plantation was done by NSS volunteers at college campus.
2. A pledge ceremony was conducted on Voter’s Day i.e. 25/01/2019 by Staff members &Students.
3. Blood Donation Camp organized at college premises in the mobile blood donation van to District Blood Bank Dantewada on NSS day. A total of 19 units blood was donated and donors got certificate also.
4. Run for Unity organised on National Unity Day 2018 in which 94 students and 16 faculties participated and gave the message of Unity.
5. Awareness program on International AIDS Day on the topic “AIDS- Myths and Truth” at college campus.
6. Yoga Day celebration on 21 June at college campus by Faculties and students.
