ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON “TRIBAL LIFE CHALLENGES V/S EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES”
The workshop has been blessed by the gracefull presence of Shri (Dr.) M K Verma Vice Chancellor C S V T U Bhilai,Shri Topeshwar Verma ,Collector, Dakshin Bastar Dantewada, Shri (Dr.) Abhishek Pallav ,Superintendent of Police Dakshin Bastar Dantewada, , Shri S Alok CEO Jila Panchayat Dakshin Bastar Dantewada, Shri (Dr.) D S Bal Former Director of Technical Education,Shri Ravindra Narayan, Jt. General Manager NMDC Limited BIOM Bacheli Complex, Shri Ajit Billong DIC Dakshin Bastar Dantewada and Shri Vivek Raksha Dy. Manager NMDC Limited BIOM Bacheli Complex. All the staff of the institute and around 70 participants from nearby institutes and schools were present. More than 800 students were present from nearby institutes and schools in the workshop.
Dr. Mukesh Thakur Principal, given a short speech upon the theme and application of this workshop and briefly clear the Vision and Mission of such workshop.Shri Topeshwar Verma IAS Dakshin Bastar Dantewada has told the audience about new schemes “Gadbo Nava Chhattisgarh” to “Gadbo Nava Dantewada”.Shri (Dr.) M K Verma expressed his deep opinion about the commitment method to achieve any success. He also made aware about the major responsibility of a good teacher and responsibility of a good student to become a good citizen. Shri (Dr.) Abhishek Pallav Sir told about sanitation benefits in health and change the paradigm.Shri S. Alok focussed upon achieving universal and equitable sanitation for all .He further viewed that it will require access to information and data on pathogens and sanitation technologies and a network of community members, professionals, and experts who reside all over the world.Shri Vishwanath from Aastha Vidya Mandir Jawanga had given presentation about “Forest Product Management”. The “Sources of Energy :Conventional and Renewable” was discussed and elaborated by Shri (Dr.) D S Bal , Former Director DTE, Raipur.
Two day’s Workshop on "Entrepreneurship, Institution & Competitiveness"
A two-day national workshop was organized at NMDC DAV Polytechnic Jawanga with the theme "Entrepreneurship, Institution and Competitiveness".National level workshop was organized for the first time in Dantewada by the branch office Dantewada of Chhattisgarh Entrepreneurship Development Center Raipur, courtesy of Ministry of Micro and Small Enterprises, Government of India. The chief guest of the said workshop was Shri Ajit Billung, General Manager, District Industries and Trade Center Dantewada. The distinguished guest was Shri KC Saha, Assistant Director, Khadi Village Industries District Dantewada. The guest of honor was Shri Vivek Raksha Deputy Manager CSR Bacheli was also present on the occasion.
At the first day workshop, General Manager Shri Ajit Billung apprised everyone present in the workshop about the government schemes related to start own business, also emphasized on the technicalities of making a project, putting the project file to the govt. agencies for onward approval and perusal.Shri KC Saha elaborated on the qualities of becoming a master of oneself. He informed the budding entrepreneurs about his own departments work culture and how they are providing various loans and schemes.he Principal of the Institute, Dr. Mukesh Thakur, embarked upon the usefulness of MSME and boosted the morale of the youth to become entrepreneurs. He categorically thanked each of the associated departments for making our institute as partner for the event and encouraged the budding entrepreneurs for making the best use of their time and money for becoming a business tycoon.

The distinguished guest was Shri KC Saha, Assistant Director, Khadi Village Industries District Dantewada. All the above guest was present on the occasion.the program was started by shri (Dr.) Mukesh Thakur Principal of NMDC DAV Polytechnic College Dantewada. He briefly introduced the main theme and objective of such workshop.Shri Sunil Upadhyay DGM CSR NMDC BIOM Bacheli he also provided clear view of the objective of the program,he adressed the participants by citing that before you get into training,the prospective entrepreneurs, it is very important to have a clear objective and plan in mind about what the program is going to encompass.Many speakers, educationist, and other resource persons guided the participants in these 10 days.
