The vision of the Mechanical Department is to create a center of excellence in quality technical education and research in this rural region producing professionally competent engineers, capable to serve the society and industry.

 

Mission:-

  1. To develop state of the art facilities related to Diploma Mechanical Engineering.
  2. To enhance the efforts for preparing job ready engineers and competent entrepreneurs.
  3. To disseminate knowledge and technical skills in mechanical engineering discipline in a progressive academic and research environment for creation of competent professionals and responsible citizens.
  4. Dedicated efforts to be made for enhancing employability of students.
  5. Enhancement of Industrial Consultancy and Testing.

  1. Use latest mechanical engineering related software’s for simple design, drafting, manufacturing, maintenance & documentation of mechanical engineering components and processes.
  2. Demonstrate the basic knowledge of science, mathematics, material science, engineering and technology to formulate & solve mechanical engineering problems.
  3. Manage Mechanical engineering processes by selecting & scheduling relevant equipment, Subtracts, quality control techniques & operational parameters.
  4. The ability to make use of acquired technical knowledge for qualifying in competitive examinations for a successful career upholding high moral and ethical values or to pursue higher studies or research.
  5. Possess adequate knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing, heat, power, measurement and quality control (processes, tools, equipments accessories etc.) and skill to apply them appropriately.
